Tried this product for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Initial color was too light and just turned the grey hairs in my beard blond. Second application was one shade darker and it worked very well. Didn't stain my skin and last a relatively long time. Very easy to apply. During the first week the secretary at work commented that I had gotten a very nice tan and looked a lot better. Another friend said he thought my beard looked a little more fuller. Nobody seemed to notice I didn't have any grey anymore.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. There are a few home and store remedies -- Any kind of ashes (cigarette, BBQ, fireplace, etc) - mix into a thick paste with a little water, rub onto the stains then wipe away with a damp cloth. You can also try hydrogen peroxide, toothpaste, astringent, cold cream, a hair coloring stain remover (can be found in the hair coloring section of a drug store), or rubbing alcohol.
We recommend using a shampoo made expressly for color treated hair and a conditioner which helps seal in color. Some shampoos or bar soaps can be harsh and actually fade the color from the hair. Water chemistry can also impact color results. Alkaline water can make color fade fast. If you notice the color fading, we suggest reapplying the product.

When I first started using the product it was because my beard was going grey unevenly (grey one side dark brown on the other). Not only did it even out the color and look completely natural, but it also made my beard much softer and more manageable. I was not expecting the conditioning aspect. I have since talked to several other users of the product and they all tell me the same thing, one even says he would use the product for the conditioning properties even if it didn't help with the grey.

I have used Just For Men Mustache color for almost 5 yrs. My mustache was getting silver, but my hair was still brown. The silver was not beautiful or striking, but kelp the beauty of the mustache from being seen correctly. My philosphy was and is, if you have a mustache, make sure it looks good and can be seen... otherwise, whats the point? MWO, California

I just turned 61. Fortunately, I'm blessed with a full head of gray-tinged dark brown hair (for which I started using Touch of Gray) and good skin. I take care of it and I quit smoking at age 33. But all that can't fix how old your hair looks, particularly if you've grown facial hair. I enjoyed having a beard and moustache in my twenties, but my second wife hated facial hair so I never tried it while with her. After we divorced, I met a woman twenty years my junior and we fell in love. About a year and a half later, I grew the beard back, which she found very sexy, but I felt so old with it being full of whites and grays. I tried Just for Men for facial hair and was so incredibly astounded at how young it made me look. Nobody ever comes close to guessing my real age. The typical guess is between 42 and 50, never higher than that. I do find that my hair tends to resist the colorant somewhat and so I do have to leave it on about twice as long as suggested, but at the same time it seems to last longer. I am a believer and so is the love of my life!

I use this product to color my hair. I have black hair but find the black coloring looks unnatural, so I use this dark brown product and by leaving it in a few extra minutes it comes out nice and dark. The small brush allows me to use the correct amount of dye in the areas that need it. I can also do root touch ups if needed. I find that using this to color my hair gives me a gray blending effect rather then a solid color which looks like a dye job. It works better, in my opinion, then the touch of gray and regular dye.
